Latvian karting 60th anniversary!

On the second weekend of August this year will be especially fast, festive and exciting. This event will take place at Madona karting track from 7.08. - 9.08. We will meet not only to complete the 2 stages of the season, but also to celebrate an important event in the history of Latvian karting - the 60th anniversary. This busy weekend we will experience both gambling competitions and various events - retro karting parades, regularity rides, a video exhibition, remembering and honoring the karting family throughout Latvia. The event and memories with karting veterans will be led by Pauls Timrots, a talented journalist and producer.
Friday - 7.08. Qualifying races will traditionally take place to find out the distribution of places for the 3rd stage of Saturday's competition. On Saturday, the stages of the 3rd season of the Latvian Championship, Rotax Challenge Cup and Pro-kart will take place.

On the other hand, Sunday will be the 4th season of the Latvian Championship and Rotax Challenge Cup and, of course, a celebration in honor of Latvian karting 60th anniversary. It should be noted that there will be no qualifying races before Sunday's race. The places for the pre-finals will be determined after the fastest lap times of Saturday's final competition. We take into account that the Micro and Mini classes of both days of the race are driven by the same set of tires, while the Junior, Senior, DD2 and DD Master classes will be issued 3 front and 3 rear tires, or 6 tires for both days of the race! Also for Pro-Kart classes - Micro Max, Mini Max and Junior, if desired, it is possible to participate in Sunday competitions with reduced conditions!

On Sunday, the Baby class will also start, where children aged 4 to 6 will sit bravely at the karting wheel. We invite you to apply for your Baby class race in advance, more information contacting Revits +371 29444518. Participation in baby Class is free.
Latvian karting - 60! anniversary events will take place from 10:00 to 16:00 in the afternoon. Karting veterans will meet and tell their special memory stories from 10:00 - 12:00 in the white competition secretariat tent, where a special area will be created to enjoy videos from older and less ancient history in a peaceful atmosphere and view the evidence of time from the development of karting history provided by veterans. A unique retro karting exhibition will also be available for viewing throughout the day - right there, in the territory of the track. From 12:00 to 13:40, exciting events on the track will take place - retro karting competitions and Veterans competitions with rental karts. At the end of the official part of the celebration at 13:40, we will honor the Latvian karting veterans at the competition secretariat and all of us will share our love for this heartbeat for a lifetime.
It should be noted that participation in the anniversary event for karting veterans is free of charge and we kindly invite every Latvian karting veteran to participate in both celebrations and competitions to celebrate this event together! We want to invite karting veterans to the event with historical evidence - newspaper articles, archive materials, possibly various karting details or awards. We want to be proud of Latvia's achievements in karting and any testimony about our athletes who have created the history of Latvian karting. Also, we would like to ask all athletes to share this message further and invite veterans to participate in the celebration.
